Well, I get off one plane from vacation and back on another plane for work. I am on the road again in Indiana. I already miss these two sweethearts of mine. I will be ready for hugs and kisses tomorrow from both of them.

Sneak Peak
Today turned out to be a beautiful day at the beach. We got up early and headed out to play in the sun. After we played in the pool, built sandcastles and jumped waves, we cleaned up and headed to the resorts courtyard for pictures. The pictures below Stacy took for me while I posed Blair in the courtyard. I will share all of my photos once Eric sends me the pictures he took. I did want to give you a sneak peak of what to expect. Enjoy!

More Rain and Our Puppy Dog
The rain continued yet again until late this evening. So we had another lazy morning. We did manage to make it to one of the activities that the resort had to offer the kids today, making seashell picture frames. We decided to go out and hit some of the shops around the lighthouse and eat some seafood for lunch. The food was wonderful! I bought a couple of Christmas ornaments in remembrance of our trip. Blair entertained herself by jumping and splashing through the water puddles all around the lighthouse and boat docks. In between the rain showers we did manage a few pictures.
When the rain finally ended, we were able to spend a few hours on the beach before dark. There is nothing like the beach in the late afternoon. The weather was perfect while we played in the ocean and on the beach. When we could no longer see to play on the beach any longer we decided to head to dinner. At the restaurant we selected, they offered several activities for the kids while we waited. Blair selected to get a puppy dog balloon animal and her face painted like a puppy dog.

Rain, Rain, Go Away
Today was a lazy day for us but still enjoyable. It rained all day so very little time was spent at the pool or beach. Aunt Stacy and Uncle Eric joined us early this morning and brought the rain with them. We decided to do a little more shopping at the outlets and also carry Blair to the Harbour Town Lighthouse. Due to the weather, we did not take many pictures today. The pictures below are from the trip to the lighthouse.

Play Day with Daddy
Chris joined us late last night to spend the rest of our vacation together. Blair and I really missed him! Blair has enjoyed having her daddy here to play with her. I think she was getting tired of playing with the rest of us. We have played in the ocean and pool for most of the day. She has enjoyed showing her daddy all of the new tricks and things she has been doing here without him.
For a brief moment I forgot how classy my husband really is, then today he quickly reminded me. I am sure the picture below will make his mom and dad proud. He sure thinks it is funny.

Monkey see, monkey do because Blair tried to
follow the same classy act. Thanks dad!

Terrific Tuesday
Today we played on the beach and in the pool most of the morning. We decided to do a little shopping at the outlets after lunch for Blair some fall/winter clothes. Mission Accomplished! I helped stimulate the economy today in Osh Kosh, Carters, Gap, The Children's Place and Gymboree. She will look cute as pie in her new clothes. After shopping we headed back into Savannah for dinner at Uncle Bubba's (Paula Dean's brothers restaurant). The pictures below were taken at the restaurant.
The best part of our terrific Tuesday was picking Chris up from the airport to spend the rest of our vacation together. Blair was ecstatic to see her daddy. I must say I was thrilled to see him myself. We have both missed him terribly.

Hilton Head, Day 2
Day 2 at Hilton Head was just as beautiful as the previous day but with just a little more excitement. Blair has been wild! We have built sand castles, rode the waves on the boogie board, rented a bike with training wheels to ride on the beach, played in multiple pools and the ocean. I may need a vacation to recover from this vacation but it has been well worth it to see the excitement and happiness the trip has brought to my little blue eyed, blond-headed sweet girl.

Hilton Head Island, Day 1
We slept in a little longer today than normal. Yesterday's festivities wore us all out. We did manage to get a little shopping in around the River Walk in Savannah before we headed out for Hilton Head and a lunch at Lady and Sons Restaurant. During our shopping trip, Blair found a shop with spray on tattoos. So, she received a Hello Kitty tattoo on her leg (washed off tonight in the tub even though the lady said it would last 1-2 weeks). We also bought Daddy a small surprise while shopping since he always buys us something when he goes somewhere without us.
After our shopping trip we headed to Lady and Sons Restaurant for some yummy lunch. Then it was off to our destination for the next week, Hilton Head. If you have never experienced the roads (roundabouts) of Hilton Head, let me just tell you they are horrible if you do not know exactly what you are doing. When we finally managed to reach our villa, we had a great time playing in the ocean and pool. Blair found many sand dollars and shells. When we made our grocery store outing I decided to buy her a boogie board to play in the ocean tomorrow. That will be interesting!

Sweet Georgia
Today Blair got to fly in an airplane for the first time with Mommy, Poppy and Gigi. We all flew into Savannah for an overnight trip. Blair has been so fun to watch with all of the excitement of experiencing new things. She has been so excited about riding on an airplane for the first time. When the plane took off from the runway Blair began to squeal with excitement, very loudly I might add. She enjoyed the ride and was so good.
When we arrived in Savannah we drove around and enjoyed the sights that this beautiful town had to offer. We tried to get into Lady and Sons (Paula Deen's) Restaurant for lunch but it was a 3 hour wait. We are going to try again tomorrow. So instead we decide to drive to Tybee Island and eat at a place called Fannies at the Beach that overlooked the beach. Afterwards, Blair enjoyed splashing in the waves and playing in the sand. What a beautiful day it has been!
After much playing on the beach, we had to head back into downtown to check in our hotel and start getting ready for our Carriage Ride. Blair was excited yet again to learn that our hotel had a swimming pool on the roof. So of course we had to take a quick swim before our carriage ride. The carriage ride was a first for both Blair and I. I really enjoyed learning about the history behind Savannah and seeing all of the Historic District. Our sweet tour guide was nice enough to let Blair sit up front with her during our ride. Towards the end of the ride Blair had moved to the back of the carriage and fell asleep in my lap. Once the ride was over we enjoyed walking around the River Walk and seeing the sites and stores.
My little one has been busy all day and needless to say is sound asleep. I am sure she will have sweet dreams tonight. Then another full day tomorrow as we head to Hilton Head.
