We started this weekend off with a trip downtown
Gardendale on Friday night to enjoy the festivities of the Elementary School Fall Festival. The weather was great, Blair had a ball and the family time together was wonderful. Blair played many games, jumped on many bouncers, and rode many rides. She even talked her Daddy into letting her climb the big wall climbing wall. He did not think she would do well but as I have told him so many times, have faith in your daughter. She climbed to the top and loved it.
On Saturday, we started the morning off as we have the last few weeks, playing soccer. Blair scored two goals but we still got beat. Blair was so happy to see her Grandpa come see her play. After the game Blair and I did a little shopping then headed to
Stix for lunch. I thought she would enjoy the guy cooking on the grill in front of us. She laughed and giggled the entire time and loved it. She ate rice and steak with chop sticks. She really got a kick out of the guy throwing food in my mouth. The little guy tried to get Blair to catch some shrimp in her mouth but she did not want to this time. She is already begging to go back soon.
We enjoyed some play time with some of the neighbors and picture time before cheering on the Vols. This year I have decided on a Tennessee Christmas Card so I had Blair posing for pictures to use on the Christmas card. There are many good pictures from the photo session.
We visited with some friends for the football game, if that is what you call it. We had a great time visiting with our friends but I cannot say the same about the outcome of the football game. Well, maybe next year. Go Vols!
